Experience the unique combination of professional instruction in the arena with hands-on riding. Join us for a five-day retreat in the mountains of Southwest Montana. Enjoy three days of learning in the arena with renowned natural horsemanship trainer, Greg Eliel.
Greg’s Philosophy: “Our philosophy is pretty simple: Always put the horse first. With the thousands of people and horses we have helped over the years, we have found that when the horse’s frame of mind is your first priority, safety and performance goals are easier to attain.”
Horsemanship I: The Horsemanship I class is designed to educate the rider on the skills necessary to stay safe and progress with their horses in whatever discipline they participate. This clinic starts with a brief individual evaluation of each horse followed by four sessions of intense groundwork and riding. The end result is a rider with a greater understanding of his horse, an increased level of safety, and skills to help troubleshoot and solve future challenges with the horse.
Horsemanship II: Once a clinic has been established, a Horsemanship II class can be added. This class is designed to help those riders that have been through Horsemanship I to continue on in their education. At the start of the Horsemanship II class, participants will demonstrate proficiency in the basic foundation of Horsemanship I principles. Most Horsemanship II classes can expect minimal ground work with the emphasis
being placed on riding skills and exercises.
Dates are August 16-18, 2019 and the cost is $500.
